welcome to the bloom.
my name is neichelle guidry. i’m a millennial womanist faith leader, and i currently serve as the Dean of Sisters Chapel at Spelman College. i’ve done a lot of things, and i’m spoken quite a few words. you can learn more about me here, and hear some of my public work here.
in this space, however, i’m just a thoughtful Black woman who’s got a cup of coffee in my hand, as i write my way through my life as it blooms into the life i’m co-creating with God and with my village. here, you will find my womanist reflections on:
spirituality and the practice thereof
social entrepreneurism, as a build my coffee company, Black Girl Black Coffee.
friendship, family and otherwise community
culture and social justice
vocation and lessons from the workspace
these will be presented in the forms of reflections, essays (informal and formal), sermons, poems, and curated lists of uplifting and delightful content from around the web. paid subscribers will receive exclusive content, including my “love notes,” all about dating and partnership, as i’m learning, loving and finally flourishing in my personal life.
